Team Features

Being Part of a Team

Slight Once you are on a Team, there will be several things that you can do that you could not do before!
So, that's yet another appeal point for joining one! Aqua

Team Chat

Slight The first of these is "Chat." This allows you to chat with all of your fellow members who happen to be online.
How is it different from normal chat? Dodger
Slight Normal chat only allows you to talk with players in the same Lobby or within your Party. Team Chat allows you to talk to all of your fellow Team members, regardless of where there are.

Pressing the [F9] Key will open the Team Log Window at the bottom of the screen. This is where you can have real-time conversations with other fellow members who are in different Lobbies or having other adventures.

Press the [F10] Key when you want to use Team Chat. This will toggle the 'word bubble' icon back and forth. When this is white, your input will be entered into normal chat, as per usual. When the icon is transparent, your words will go to Team Chat.

Since Team Chat is a feature that is unique to your particular Team, you cannot use it to talk to players in other Lobbies or areas if they are on a different Team.

Speaking of ways that let you communicate with people anywhere, I heard about Simple Mail, too. Is this kind of like that?

Slight

Simple Mail lets you talk one-on-one with another player, regardless of where they are. Team Chat lets you talk to all online members at the same time.

Aha! So then, Team Chat is good for finding someone to trade items with, or for gathering Party members together!

Team Member List

Slight The Team Member list lets you see at a glance which of your Team members are connected, and also allows you to send them Simple Mail or go to meet them directly

You can send mail and items to team members!
Simple Mail Allows you to send a Simple Mail message to that player.
Send Item Lets you send an item, along with a message, to the player; the item is delivered to that player's checkroom.
Meet Transports you to the Ship and Block of the selected Team member.

So, you can get in touch with other Team members even if you don't have their Guild Card!

Aqua It's really great to have all of these simple means of communication!

Sending Items

Items can only be sent if the sender is currently in the City.

When you send an item, you select one from your current inventory, and it is sent along with a Simple Mail message. The item will be sent to the other player's checkroom.

It does not matter if the receiver is outside of the City, or in a Visual Lobby or some other area; however, if the receiver's checkroom is full, or if they are currently using the checkroom, the item will not be received, and you will be prompted with a message stating that the attempt to send the item has failed.

Meseta cannot be sent.
