| All right! Preparations are done, and we're all set to go to Ragol! So, uh, now how do we get there? |
Main Teleporter
As you progress in your journeys and become better hunters, the number of locations that you can teleport too will increase. |

The main teleporter, beyond this door, will take you down to Ragol. |
The "Main Teleporter" will take hunters down to the surface of Ragol. If we had companions who had gone along ahead, there would be other teleporters that we could use, but right now, it's just us. |
I understand that we need to use the Main Teleporter to go to Ragol, but once we're down there, what exactly are we supposed to do? |
| Hmm? I guess I hadn't thought about that. Maybe we'll just... know when we get there. |
It would be best if we have a quest or some objective for when we actually go down to Ragol. Also, if we complete special requests for those who ask, we can earn reward money. |
| Now that's what I'm talking about! Let's go and find a quest! |
Principal's Quests
There are two main types of quests:
The first of these are the "Principal's Quests," given by the Administration. These are investigations and special requests that follow along with the main story of the game. |
For Episode II
In Episode II, rather than getting quests from the Principal, you will undertake "Lab Quests."
Let's go to the Principal's Office and see what kind of quest we can get! |
| All right, since I'm the leader, just leave it to me. |
The leader is the one who has the authority to go and accept quests on behalf of the party. |
After the leader decides on a quest, all Party members should go to the Main Teleporter in the City, travel to the planet, and begin the quest. |

When all party members are together and the Leader speaks to Momoka, the party can choose a quest from the list that appears. |
Accepting Quests
In order to undertake a quest, all Party members, not just the leader, must be present. This holds true for Guild Quests, as well.
Guild Quests
The other type of quest is a "Guild Quest," which you receive from the counter at the Hunter's Guild. These quests are typically offered by citizens of Pioneer 2, who may have lost something or need bodyguards. |

Guild Quests are accepted from the counter in the Hunters' Guild. |
Looks like we've got a lot of fun options! |
| So, does the leader take the reins here, too? |
Just like with the Principal's Quests, the leader is the one who speaks to the receptionist and decides on the quest. |
Guild Quests
There are some Guild Quests which are only available for certain events, such as Valentine's Day or Halloween, and other quests which require a certain number of party members to participate.
1-Player Quests
When forming a Party, if you select "1-Player" mode, you will be able to undertake 1-Player Quests. These 1-Player Quests come in a wide variety, ranging from tutorials to missions that expand the story.
| Battle Training |
A tutorial that explains the battle system. Recommended for newbies! |
| Magnitude of Metal |
Teaches valuable information about "Mags." |
Story Branching
Some 1-Player Quests offer you a choice upon completion. Based on what you do, you can affect the outcome of the story. |

One-Player Quests, like Guild Quests, are also accepted at the Hunters' Guild. |
Story Progression and Quests
So, then, we've got a lot of fun options for quests to choose from. |
Basically, following along with the Principal's Quests will move the story forward and expand the number of locations we can explore. Then, when we have new locations to explore, we can obtain new Guild Quests that take place there. |
And by doing Guild Quests and 1-Player Quests along with the Principal's Quests, we get to fill in the rest of the details of the story! |
| Okay, then! Let's go get a quest from the Principal. That Momoka girl is pretty cute... |
