City
Aqua Sorry to keep you waiting!
There you are! I was getting sick of waiting around. I took a little look around; this place is way different from the Lobby. Dodger
Slight The City is where you'll be doing most of your preparation for adventuring, and so lots of establishments are here for that effect.

Shopping

Slight Let's check out the shops, first.
Aqua

Ooh, shopping! I wonder what kind of stores they have.

From left to right: Tekker, Weapon Shop, Armor Shop, Item Shop

Currency

The unit of money in the PSO universe is called "Meseta." You can check your current funds on the Main Menu. You begin the game with 300 Meseta.

We need weapons to kick some enemy butt! Let's go to the Weapon Shop! Dodger
Slight At the "Weapon Shop," "Item Shop," and "Tekker," you can get various services and sell off items you don't need.
...wow, weapons are expensive. Dodger
Aqua Since we're just starting out, I suppose we don't have much in the way of shopping options. For now, why don't we just stock up on some recovery items?

The Item Shop sells other useful things besides just healing items!
Slight

You earn Meseta by carrying out special requests, finding it in your journeys, and by selling off items.

Guess I'll need to save up for a bit before I can buy the things I want. Dodger

Useful Items

Monomate A liquid that restores HP. You should always try to keep a large stock of this.
Monofluid A liquid that restores TP. This is important for Forces, who use lots of Techniques to do battle.
Telepipe Opens a teleport gate between Ragol and the City. You can use it to go back and restock your supplies in the middle of a journey.

There are other useful items for sale as well, of course!

Storing Items

Slight You can store items and Meseta at the Check Room, and then withdraw them later, when you need them.

Check Room

You can store up to 999,999 Meseta and 200 items in the check room. Some items like Monomate will stack so that they only take up a single item slot.

The Check Room lets you store Meseta and items.
Aqua This'll be good from dropping off items that you'll need later; when you need the carrying space for other things.
The lady behind the counter is pretty, but I don't trust her. I'll just carry everything myself. Dodger
Slight If you're carrying too many things, you won't be able to pick up any new items that you find in the course of your adventures.

...okay. I guess I can let her hold some things for me, then.

When You're Ready

Aqua We don't need any medical treatment, and we don't have any unidentified items for the Tekker to look at, so it looks like we're done!
I've spoken to some of the people here in the City. Ragol sounds like a pretty nasty place. Dodger

Press [Enter] to speak to characters that you encounter in the City.
Slight Indeed. So, let us depart.

Medical Center

At the Medical Center, you can pay to have your HP and TP restored, along with any abnormal status ailments you might be suffering from. If you are ever taken out in combat, you will restart from here.

Tekker

You will need to bring unidentified items that you find to the Tekker. You can have the Tekker re-evaluate an item multiple times, but doing so can cause it to change into something else, so be careful.
